Comment | Describe a company that you’d like to work for You should say : What this company is What this company is known for How you got to know this company And explain why you want to work for this company. There are many companies I’d like to work for, but I have to say L'oreal group is the one that first pops into my mind. The company owns many different brands such as Kiels, Cerave, and so on. The beauty giant became a leading company in the beauty industry a long time ago and it still ranks first in the world in terms of company size. So I think people who work in the same field as me admire working for the company. I became better informed about it when I read an article about their business situation. After reading the article, I’d like to be a part of the company. Here are several reasons. First, I’d like to learn their strategies and systems which make the company so special. Even though many beauty companies were struggling to generate sales during Covid, they grew 30% than before. That means they are competent. Second, their hiring process is very competitive. That means I’d work with the best of the best. Not only that, it has diverse perks such as free meals, international training system, and working opportunity in their foreign branch. For these reasons, I’d like to work for L’oreal oneday and that’s why I’m learning English now. what are the differences between big and small companies? I think the big difference is apparently company benefits such as free meals, training system, and flexible work arrangements. Big companies typically have more financial resources and larger budgets, allowing them to invest in their employees’ job satisfaction. In contrast, small companies may have limited resources and tighter budgets, requiring them to be more focused on cost-effective operation. Why do some people choose to work at small companies? Actually, I’m working for a small company. I think the benefit of working in a small company is that I can have a lot of growth opportunities. In a small company, individuals often have access to a broader range of experiences and responsibilities. This can accelerate their learning and skill development as they get involved in various aspects of the business. They may have the chance to work closely with senior leadership, gain exposure to different departments, and take on leadership roles earlier in their careers.
